Phase 1 of the IWMF programme concluded in July 2022. The work undertaken has provided us with a great platform for progressing our programme of work into Phase 2.

Some of the areas of work delivered by Phase 1 included:

•        Creating hotspot maps of the existing and likely future water environment pressures

•        Systems mapping to build an understanding of the interactions between different water planning management regimes

•        Designing a high-level multi-criteria analysis to allow for comparable appraisal of water environment infrastructure interventions

•        Piloting integrated water modelling to aid our understanding of its potential uses moving forward
