Rainwater Harvesting

Image to be added

Why is the project relevant to you?

The changing climate has a significant impact on the quality and quantity of water that is available. There is pressure on water resources within the UK and consequently there is a need to manage and use public water supply as efficiently as possible. Rainwater harvesting has potential to reduce mains water use by providing an alternative source of non-potable water. This project has looked at the commercial sector, although rainwater harvesting is possible in domestic settings as well.
